R.E.4 Propeller

R.E. 4 Mazco Propeller

The Mazco R.E.4 (4 Blade) was developed for boaters looking for maximum low end and mid-range without sacrificing top end. This propeller was the result of endless hours of testing and modifications to yield a new performance propeller. The R.E.4 is a propeller that can be run at extremely high transom heights and still maintain “bite” because of its larger diameter. This propeller provides excellent bow lift and carries the entire boat.

The Mazco R.E.4 is a 1 piece casting of 15-5 P.H. stainless steel, the most desirable stainless for tensile strength. The hub I.D. and mating surfaces are bored and machined for exact tolerances. The R.E.4 is fully heat treated, solution annealed, and age hardened to 31-33 Rockwell for uniform strength.

The R.E.4 is blueprinted for exact standards. It is formulated with progressive pitch and parabolic rake to give maximum performance. The blades are thinned for ultimate speed, but yet thick enough for durability and are able to withstand the torque of the highest horsepower outboards. The propeller is then balanced to precise standards and is polished to a mirror finish to reduce drag. Each of our blueprinted R.E.4 propellers is assigned an identification number. The number is stamped on the propeller and added to our permanent records. These propellers are available in right hand rotation only with 22″, 24″, 26″, 28″, 30″ and 32″ pitches.

For the Bass Boater, the Hi-Performance Enthusiast or Racer, the only choice is the Mazco R.E.4.
